Framingham Plans 8th Annual Earth Day: Are You Taking Part?
Going green for a fun, informative day with Framingham people.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—The theme this year is "local." It's not surprising because that theme has been trending around the country for a few years now, Earth Day or not.
Framingham Earth Day Festival (which is the name of the nonprofit, and the festival) brings together the community to gather around an event that promotes sustainability, environmental care and green initiatives on Saturday, April 28, from 11 to 3 p.m. at the Framingham Common.
"There are so many people, companies and organizations who are working towards making their lives, our town and the planet a greener and more sustainable place," says its mission. "But when and how can they all connect with each other and work together? The Framingham Earth Day Festival began as an idea to bring together all of these sectors: environmental organizations, sustainable products, and interested community members in a fun and natural environment."
