Framingham Plans To Destroy Old Special Education Records

Students who graduated, transferred, withdrew, or aged out as of June 2008, may pick up their records before they are destroyed.

In accordance with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, 603 CMR 23.06 (3), the Framingham Public Schools will be destroying records of special education students who graduated, transferred, withdrew, or aged out as of June 2008.

Students who wish to receive their personal student files should request their file by calling the Special Education Department at (508) 626-9123 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday no later than December 4th, 2015.

Students will have their files available for pick-up from December 14th through December 18th.

A state-issued form of identification will be required to retrieve records.
