Participating in this pledge provides districts with resources and support to ensure that local technology and digital learning plans align with instructional best practices, are implemented by highly trained teachers, and lead to personalized learning experiences for all students, particularly those from traditionally under-served communities.
As the Framingham Public Schools embarks on this journey, several administrators are scheduled to attend two conferences.

Yesterday, May 7, we will tour and learn from the experiences of the Baltimore County Public Schools, observing the work in their district as they personalize learning for every student using digital teaching practices.
On June 8-9, 2015, we will attend the Future Ready Summit also being held in the Baltimore County Public Schools district.
The Future Ready Summit will be an opportunity for district teams across the country to observe the use of technology in improving student learning.
Special grant funds designated for leadership development are being used to cover the cost of the conferences.
