Framingham State Softballer Named Player of The Year
Tiffanie Marsh and two Framingham State freshmen named to All-Conference squads.

Sophomore utility player Tiffanie Marsh of Tewksbury has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletics Conference Player of the Year and selected first team All-Conference as voted on by the league coaches.
Marsh is joined on the first team by freshman outfielder Dayna Marchant and freshman designated player Bridget McGrail was selected for the second team.
Marsh, the 2014 MASCAC Rookie of the Year, finished the year fifth in the conference in batting average (.410), second in home runs (5), second in hits (41) and fourth in runs scored (30). Her 5 home runs ties the school record for long balls in a season. Marsh spent time at shortstop, 3rd base and in the circle making just 3 errors in 100 chances for a .970 fielding percentage. In addition to her offensive production, Marsh contributed in the circle going 3-2 with a 2.51 ERA against conference opponents walking just 3 in 39 innings.

Marchant was tied for the team lead in hits with 41 and led the team with 31 runs scored while batting .394 with 2 doubles, 2 triples & 2 home runs in her freshman campaign. McGrail finished the regular season tied for a team high 21 RBI hitting .314 with 1 double, 1 triple and 1 homerun.
The Rams earned the sixth seed in the MASCAC Tournament and travel to #3 seed Bridgewater State for a single elimination quarter-final game today, April 30.
