Police officers found the high school teen girl β€œdisoriented” and possible under the influence of alcohol or drugs, so she was transported by ambulance to MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, according to Lt. Cronin.

She was found without shoes by two school counselors.

There are reports the teen, 17, was in the wooded area with Cowart, and possibly two other students.

Police are still investigating the incident that took place just around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The arrest happened late Wednesday night, according to the Framingham log.

Framingham Police Lt. Cronin, said he did not have a name nor an age on the female taken to the hospital, yesterday.

The teen, whose named was not released, was reported missing from class, according to Framingham High Principal Elyse Torbert.

β€œAdministrators and faculty members went out to look for the student and found the student in the woods. While still in the woods, the student ran away and was then found in a swamp. Others were present and also ran away. The police were called and are now investigating the situation,” said Torbert, in an email that went out to parents Wednesday afternoon.

Torbert said at all times, β€œstudents in the building were safe, and most students in the building were likely unaware of the incident. β€œ
