There also will be a race for Framingham Selectmen. Selectman Jason Smith is running for re-election for another 3-year term. Town Meeting member Jim Pillsbury is challenging him for the seat.

There is no race for Framingham Planning Board. Both incumbents Stephanie Mercandetti and Thomas Mahoney are seeking re-election, and at the moment they have no challengers.

No write-in candidates have emerged yet for Keefe Technical School Committee, as of March 13.

To win the seat, an person would need to receive a minimum of 50 votes in the April 7 Town Election, said Framingham Town Clerk Valerie Mulvey.

If no one receives a minimum of 50 votes, then an individual would need to be appointed to the open Keefe Technical School Committee seat. The rest of the Framingham members of the Keefe Technical School Committee plus the Framingham Selectmen would make the appointment, until the next election.

Also on the ballot seeking re-election, and running unopposed, are:

  • Town Moderator Teri Banerjee
  • Library Trustees Maria Barry, Eric Doherty, Nancy Coville Wallace, and Jan Harrington
  • Edgell Grove Cemetery Trustees Kathleen Griffith and Peter Whiting

Voters will also elect Town Meeting members. Framingham has 18 precincts. Each precinct will elect 4 Town Meeting members for full terms, some precincts will elect Town Meeting members for partial terms.
