Framingham Youth Football Hosting First-Ever Clinic in July

Registration for the 2-day clinic at Framingham State University is $40.

Framingham Youth Football and Cheerleading (FYFC) will host its first-ever football clinic next month.

The 2-day clinic is Monday July 13 and Tuesday July 14 at Framingham State University’s Maple Street field. Check in begins at 5 p.m, with the clinic running from 5:30 to 7:45 p.m.

The purpose of the clinic is to help teach strong fundamental football skills while emphasizing safety first.

A talented, experienced, and accredited coaching staff has been invited to lead the clinic drills, providing clinic attendees with sound and practical drills that can really help youth players. The clinic is designed for football players in grades 2-8. Players will be divided by age level at the clinic.

In addition to this, there will be several former/current collegiate players with strong local ties on hand.

The 2014 Offensive Player of the Year, Danny Guadagnoli (Bentley College QB and former Framingham High graduate) and all time Division III leading rusher with nine offensive state records,

Framingham State running back Melikke Van Alstyne also will be present working with clinic participants.

The registration fee is $40 and covers both days of the clinic.

Participants will also receive a complimentary clinic t-shirt and water bottle.
