Fuller Middle Named Finalist For Samsung Solve For Tomorrow Contest
More han 250 finalists were named across the country. State finalists will be named next month.

Fuller Middle School, and four other schools from Massachusetts, were named finalists in the Samsung Solve For Tomorrow Contest.
βTo excite students about the possibilities of STEM education, Samsung started the Solve for Tomorrow education contest, giving schools across the U.S. the opportunity to raise interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) subjects among students by awarding their schools with a share of over $2 million in technology products.β

The state winner will receive $20,000 in technology for their school and complete against 50 other finalists for the national prize.

Fuller is competing in Massachusetts with Newton North High School, Mathaβs Vineyard Regional High School, Nettle middle School in Haverhill, and Feacteau Leary Junior and Senior Alternative School in Lynn for the state title.
Fuller Middle School will need to submit a lesson plan to show how it uses STEM (Science Technology, Engineerng and Math) via a lesson plan with students.
Last yearβs state winner in Massachusetts was Nauset Regional High Schools, which used GPS units to track ocean currents, find cold-stunned turtles that wash up on the shore and rehabilitate them.
