GoFundMe Campaign: Framingham Fire Destroys House, Belongings

While part of the home is inhabitable, much of it was destroyed, as were many belongings.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—Thankfully, no one was hurt, and a section of the home is deemed livable, but a fire that ripped through the Brown-Yanez family home on Jan. 22 destroyed much of what was in it.

Dianna, Gary, Lila, Ella, June and Ramon all got out as the Framingham Fire Department battled the flames, which ultimately spread through the laundry room and one side of the house. Many of the children's possessions, including clothes and shoes and personal belongings were destroyed.

A family friend has started a GoFundMe crowdsourcing page to raise funds for the family to replace some of these items. $5,150 of the $8,000 goal has been raised so far.
