The family-run Framingham farm is now turning to the community to raise the money and started a GoFundMe campaign.
“We are looking to you, our community, friends and family both near and far for aid. We can no longer do this alone and in order to survive the next 100 years, we need help,” wrote Jacqueline Hanson, who created the GoFundMe account.

“Our barns need to be re-roofed. Our main upper barn, a 200-year old beauty of post and beam construction, is getting desperate - an outer wall is buckling and we need to make repairs before we lose these timeless treasures,” wrote Hanson.
“Our goal is high, we know,” she wrote. ”However, anything we can raise will help! There are equipment and greenhouses to repair, and electrical systems to update - among SO many other things.”
More than $3,500 has been raised in the last month by more than 50 individuals.
No donation is too small, said Hanson.
“Support the farmers who work to feed their community,” she wrote. ”We truly are surrounded by a wonderful support system, both physically and emotionally, and if it weren’t for all of you, we wouldn’t have made it this far. ... Thank you to all of you for all that you do to support us. Here’s to keeping this little oasis going for another 100 years!”
