Some parts of Massachusetts reported as much as 8 inches of snow during the weekend storm. Here's how much fell locally.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — A winter storm brought as much as 8 inches of snow in some parts of Massachusetts, prompting parking bans, difficult travel and other logistical problems for some.
Luckily, the timing of the storm didn't alter the school schedule.
The highest snow totals were seen in Essex County, according to the National Weather Service, where 8.5 inches were recorded in Beverly, and at least seven inches were recorded in eight other communities, according to the National Weather Service.

Middlesex and Worcester Counties also saw at least seven inches of snow in some communities, while Cape Cod and the islands saw over 5 inches of snow.
In Framingham, 5 inches of snow were recorded during the weekend storm.

NWS forecasters said more snow could be in the forecast this week, with the south coast in the potential path of light snow Tuesday night into Wednesday.
A stronger storm Wednesday night into Thursday could bring snow and mixed precipitation, officials said.
