Igoe Named To Liberty League Football Academic All-Conference Team

Joseph Igoe, a Junior at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, is a Framingham High graduate.

Joseph Igoe was one of 28 WPI Football student-athletes to earn Liberty League All-Academic status.

The number of selections helped WPI regain its top spot in the conference academically, a distinction the Engineers have held five of the past six seasons.

Igoe is a junior, who graduated from Framingham High.

Student-athletes with a full year in residence at their institution who carry a 3.2 cumulative grade point average into a season of competition qualify for the Liberty League All-Academic Teams.

The Liberty League consists of eight football institutions committed to academic excellence: Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Springfield College, St. Lawrence University, Union College, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, University of Rochester and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
