British musician Howard Jones, one of the defining figures of ‘80s synth pop sound, performed a concert at The Verve Friday night in Natick.

Jones, who just turned 60 in February, began a North American tour last month that will wrap up the tour in California in May.

Performing before a standing room only crowd Friday night, Jones performed some new and some old songs.

The old featured his highest charting American hit No One is To Blame, as well as the hit Everlasting Love.

A classically trained pianist, Jones also performed Like to Get to Know You Well and Things Can only Get Better.
