UPDATED: Interim Framingham Health Director Resigns

Interim Director of Public Health Roberto Santamaria has voluntarily resigned his position with the Town to pursue other employment opportunities effective today, May 8, said Framingham Town Manager.

“Consistent with the personnel policies and practices of the Town I have no further comment to make on this decision,” said Halpin.

Santamaria was hired as deputy health director in Nov. 2013.

This is the third health director to leave since spring of 2013.

Ethan Mascoop, citing personal reasons, resigned in spring 2013.

Steven Ward was hired in August 2013 but resigned in October 2014.
