It's Thanksgiving Week ... But There Still is Road Construction
Below is a list of Town of Framingham and MassDOT road construction projects motorists may encounter this week.

Thanksgiving is Thursday, so we should be thankful road construction season is almost over.
But there is still work ongoing this week.
Below is a list of Town of Framingham and MassDOT road construction projects motorists may encounter this week.

- CENTRAL STREET BRIDGE OVER THE SUDBURY RIVER: Construction of the new bridge will continue. Traffic will continue to be detoured over the Wickford Road Bridge. Please allow additional travel time.
- DOWNTOWN FRAMINGHAM RECONSTRUCTION: Contractors will continue to install sidewalk improvements on Concord Street as well as install traffic signals, street lights and wiring throughout the project. Expect moderate delays and on-street parking restrictions.
- DUDLEY ROAD: Construction will begin on the new pedestrian crosswalk near the intersection of Dr. Harvey Cushing Way. Expect moderate delays.
- EDGELL ROAD: Construction will begin on the new pedestrian crosswalk near the intersection of Whiting Road. Expect moderate delays.
- MAIN STREET (Day Work): The contractor will continue with water work on Moulton Park Road and complete punch list items on Main Street. Traffic plans may include one-way alternating traffic. Expect traffic delays on affected roadways. Police details will be on site to facilitate traffic.
- MAIN STREET (Night Work) Eversource Gas will be replacing the gas main from 34 Main Street to High Street. Hours of operation are 8 to 5 a.m.
- ROUTE 9 BRIDGE OVER FOSS RESERVOIR OUTLET: The contractor is working on the southern section of the bridge. The westbound pedestrian sidewalk will remain closed. Expect moderate delays.
- SPEEN STREET: Eversource Gas will install gas main and services on Speen Street from Old Connecticut Path to Cochituate Road. Expect delay
