Job Search, Poetry Clinics: Framingham Library Events

The Framingham Public Library has a few great events on Tuesday, Nov. 27.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The Framingham Public Library is offering a few great workshops on Tuesday, offering residents a chance to brush up on their job searching skills and to work on poetry.

From 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, experts will be avilable to help out residents with their resumes, cover letters and other job search strategies. This free and confidential event will be held in the Job Resource Center on the top floor of the main library at 40 Lexington St.

Then, from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Alan Feldman, Professor Emeritus at Framingham State University will lead a poetry workshop.

"This drop-in class welcomes serious poets of all ages and levels of experience who would like to participate for one or more sessions. We begin with a discussion of a topic in poetry leading to a brief in-class assignment. Poets who wish to have their work discussed should bring copies," the library's Facebook post says.
