To Kill A Mockingbird Discussion at Shoppers World's Barnes and Noble

Barnes & Noble, one of the largest retail bookseller and the leading retailer of content, digital media and educational products, is inviting customers to take part in a special To Kill a Mockingbird book discussion on Thursday, May 14. Stores across the country will hold the discussion on Thursday.
The Barnes & Noble store in Shoppers World in Framingham is participating, with a 7 p.m. discussion on May 14. First-time readers, re-readers, families reading together and customers of all ages are invited to attend the event.
The first in a series of events at Barnes & Noble stores, in celebration of the highly anticipated July 14 release of Go Set a Watchman, this will be a dynamic book discussion about one of the most-read books in America, To Kill a Mockingbird.

“We are excited to welcome our customers on May 14 for what should be a riveting discussion of To Kill a Mockingbird, one of the most beloved and widely read books in America,” said Mary Amicucci, Vice President, Adult Trade and Children’s Books at Barnes & Noble, in a press release. “This is the first event in a series that’s designed to generate conversation about Harper Lee’s exceptional work and build excitement for the fast-approaching release of Go Set a Watchman.”
Author Harper Lee was born in 1926 in Monroeville, Alabama. She studied law at the University of Alabama. Her 1960 novel To Kill a Mockingbird was an instant bestseller and won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1961.

To Kill a Mockingbird tells the story of unjustly accused man, the lawyer who defends him, and the young girl who observes it all.
The To Kill a Mockingbird event series continues on June 18 when Barnes & Noble stores nationwide will host a To Kill a Mockingbird ‘Page & Screen’ discussion. Customers are invited to their local Barnes & Noble store to join a lively discussion of this acclaimed novel and its screen adaptation. Customers can discuss their favorite parts of the book, scenes from the movie, famous quotes, favorite characters, and more.
This will be followed on July 13 with a special Read-A-Thon event on the eve of the July 14 release of Go Set a Watchman. Barnes & Noble will also host a To Kill a Mockingbird Read-A-Thon in all stores on Monday, July 13. From 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., the book will be read from start to finish and will feature a variety of readers from the community including educators, customers, booksellers, local authors and celebrities.
Customers can pre-order Go Set a Watchman discounted at 40% off for members and 30% off for non-members at Barnes & Noble stores nationwide and online.
Go Set a Watchman, is a newly discovered novel by Lee. In it, Scout Finch returns to her hometown of Maycomb, Alabama, to visit her father.
