Lee Leads Framingham State to Victory
The Rams women's soccer team will be either the third or fourth seed in next week's Conference tournament.

North Adams, Mass.- The Framingham State womenβs soccer team used a late second half goal by junior Ashley Lees to capture a 2-1 road win over MCLA Saturday afternoon.

Framingham improves to 10-5-2 (4-1-2 Conference).
The Rams will be either the third or fourth seed in next weekβs Conference quarterfinals and await the final pairings.

MCLA will be the sixth seed in next weekβs championship and play on the road on Tuesday.
Marissa Miele, a Hudson Jigh product, put the Rams on the board first in the 23rd minute giving FSU a 1-0 lead. Haley McKay and Lulu Foy were credited with assists on the play.
MCLA would rally back with a goal just five minutes later from Natalie Caney assisted by Brittany Whitford to tie the game going into half time.
In the second half, Framingham would take the lead with three minutes left in the game. Miele crossed the ball to the far post where Lees found net and sent it home for the game-winner. MCLA was unable to answer back.
K. Gagne-Lamoureaux would start in goal for the Rams giving up one goal while having 2 saves for the first half. Sara Sullivan took over in relief to start the second half and would earn the win for FSU while having only 1 save.
Framingham took 20 shots during the match outshooting MCLA who had 5. The Rams would also earn 6 corner kicks to MCLAβs 1.
