"Both of these positions effect Precinct 10 and 11 and require a significant commitment of time and energy."

Each district City Council seat in the upcoming Framingham election is important as it represents the unique aspects and needs of the people in the district. District 6, a combination of Framingham’s prior precincts 10 and 11, has two worthy candidates in Phil Ottaviani and Mike Rossi. Both have been active in town affairs and both have skills to bring to the table where a new 11 member Framingham City Council will sit. However, between the two, Phil Ottaviani stands out. Phil has been involved in so many civic projects, charitable events, municipal decisions and town meeting votes that it is difficult to list them all. Most importantly, Phil has remained active in all these things more recently than his opponent. Rossi was on the Board of Selectman 20 years ago but what has he done recently? Phil has kept his seat on Town Meeting, representing Precinct 11, while also serving as the chair of the Zoning Board of Appeals. Both of these positions effect Precinct 10 and 11 and require a significant commitment of time and energy. Phil has served these positions well while at the same time he was serving on multiple non-profit boards and attending untold community meetings. His knowledge of the district is current and considerable.
I urge the voters of District 6 to cast their vote for Phil Ottaviani as your City Councilor. As a longtime Town Meeting Member representing Precinct 11, his experience is current, his commitment deep and his level of caring is unmatched.
