I have been a resident of Framingham for over 25 years. In terms of the mayor’s race, I firmly believe that Yvonne Spicer is the best choice for Framingham. Sometimes. there is one moment that defines a candidate for a voter. For me, that moment was how Dr. Spicer handled her campaign finance report.
Dr. Spicer submitted her report a week earlier than was actually required. Think about that, can you remember the last time a politician actually delivered early on something that was required of them?

This gave Framingham voters almost double the time that was legally required to scrutinize her campaign finances. In addition, it was one of the first campaign finance reports that I have seen where every penny was accounted for (nothing buried in the non-itemized money boxes). Personally, I want my mayor concerned about every cent of our 250+ million dollar budget.
During the city vote, many expressed concerns about money and its impact on mayoral elections. For me, it was uplifting to see such transparency in a candidate for political office. I believe Dr. Spicer’s actions set the bar higher for all the other candidates in this race as well as for races going into the future.

In a nutshell, I TRUST her. Please join me in voting for Dr. Spicer on Tuesday, Nov. 7 - she’s the real deal.
