Marathon Runner Wants to Thank Framingham Police Officer

Anusha Mookherjee dropped out of Monday’s Boston Marathon just after 5 miles.

She tweeted she was shivering and a Framingham Police Officer offered her his jacket.

She would like to find the officer to thank him.

She tweeted: “Thank you to the police officer from @FraminghamPD who gave me his jacket when he saw me shivering on the course. #BostonMarathon #nextyear”

“I was bone cold and that officer did not think twice,” she told Framingham Patch this morning.

Mookherjee would have been near the intersection of Winter and Route 135. Station near there were both Framingham Polic and Framingham Public Safety employees.
