The luncheon prepared by Kathy & Billy Zompetti consisted of Russian chicken, rice, green beans and a Caesar salad. Dessert was cake and the famous Marian cookies, and it was enjoyed by all in attendance.

Bill Morrissey and Kathleen Morrissey-Lotane grandparents of Ken ’14 and Claire Paulson ’17 and Charlie and Joan Doherty and Mary Walsh grandparents of John ’13, Brendan ’14, Claire ’16 and Maeve Walsh ’18 enjoyed each others company and β€œa really nice time.”

They spent much of the time talking about the various activities their grandchildren were and are involved in as well as the education they received during their tenure at Marian.

Each of the grandparents received a plant and a gift package consisting of a wooden building replica, a car magnet, an inspirational booklet courtesy of the Sisters of St. Joseph, Lindt chocolates and a bookmark with a poem.

Special thanks to Sister Cathy Clifford for her innovative idea and to Julie Purcell and Mary Ann Baril for helping to make it happen.
