Mary Agnes Horan, 91
Funeral Mass is Tuesday, July 2, for the former Boston high school teacher.

Born in Boston, she was daughter of the late Frederick Joseph and Agnes Cecilia (Noonan) Horan.
She worked at the Bethlehem Steel Shipyard during World War II. She was a teacher’s aide in the Millis Public Schools and a high school teacher in Boston for 20 years retiring in 1990.

Horan was an active member of the St. Williams Church in Dorchester and St. Thomas Church in Millis.
She loved scrabble, was an avid bowler and enjoyed her reading groups.

She is survived by her sister, Sister Margaret Horan, CSJ of Watertown and many cousins and great cousins.
Visiting hours at the Holy Spirit Chapel, Bethany Health Care Center, 97 Bethany Road, Framingham, Thursday, July 2, 2015, 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.
Prayer Service at 10:15 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation at Bethany Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 990 La Grange St., West Roxbury.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. in Framingham.
