MassBay Buccaneers Start Season 3-0

The Buccaneers ousted Bristol Community College 105-98 Tuesday night, for their third victory.

The Buccaneers were led by their back court trio of guards, with sophomore Portillo leading the way with a team-high 24 points.
Freshman Guard Tevin Charles added 20 points and 8 rebounds. Former Natick High hoopster Kameron Jimenez-Fox (added his second double-double effort of the season with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Also contributing with double figures, was sophomore Forward Zeev Gray-Mandel with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 blocked shots. Jordan Sands has 13 points and 4 rebounds with Fred Smith adding 10 points and grabbing 8 rebounds.
The Buccaneers are back in action at Northern Essex Community College on Thursday Nov. 12 at 6 p.m.
On Sunday morning, Nov. 7, the Mass Bay Buccaneers beat U-Maine Augusta on the road in the NHTI Tournament 93-67.
Portillo scored 21 points and had four assists. Jimenez-Fox had a double-double effort of 20 points and 12 rebounds.
The Buccaneers opened up the season with a win against NHTI, 71-69 in the tournament. Sophomore Anthony Swain led the team with 19 points.
