Mayor Spicer To Deliver State Of The City Address

The new mayor will address a variety of issues in her first annual speech.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—Mayor Yvonne M. Spicer is leading the State of the City Address, delivering it will be on Monday, Feb. 5, at 6 p.m. in Nevins Hall of the Memorial Building.

In the State of the City, Spicer plans to address the transitioning of Framingham to a City form of government, a status report regarding the City of Framingham and "where we are as a municipality, building strengths in Framingham Public Schools and addressing the challenges, steps to invigorate Framingham’s economy for balanced development and growth, preserving Framingham’s resources and addressing the quality of life in Framingham through investing in our people."

Not only will viewers be able to watch the State of the City Address on the Government Channel, but they will also be able to stream election coverage from the City of Framingham’s official Facebook page.
