MBTA Releases Service Schedule for Thanksgiving Weekend
Here's a complete look at this week's holiday schedule for subway, commuter rail, bus, and boat riders.
Thanksgiving is Thursday and with lots of people traveling for the holiday and upcoming holiday weekend, from buses, to the commuter rail, subway and more, here is a look at the MBTA’s holiday schedule for this week:
Silver Line
To accommodate customers travelling to and from Logan Airport, the Silver Line 1 will add additional service through Monday, November 30, 2015.

Subway
Wednesday, Nov. 25
- The Red Line, Orange Line, Blue Line, and Green Line B-, C-, D-, and E-Branches will operate a regular weekday schedule.
- The Silver Line 1: To ensure prompt and convenient service to and from Logan Airport, the Silver Line will operate a modified weekday schedule with additional service during peak travel periods. The Silver Line 2, 4, and 5 will operate regular weekday service.
- Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26
- The Red Line, Orange Line, Blue Line, and Green Line B-, C-, D-, and E-Branches, and Silver Line will operate a Sunday schedule.
- Customers should also note that the CharlieCard Store located adjacent to the Red and Orange Lines at Downtown Crossing Station is closed on Thanksgiving Day.
- The Red Line, Orange Line, and Blue Line will operate a regular Friday schedule.
- The Green Line B-, C-, D-, and E-Branches will operate a Saturday schedule.
- The Silver Line 1 will operate a modified Friday schedule with additional service. The Silver Line 2, 4, and 5 will operate regular Friday service.
Commuter Rail
Wednesday, Nov. 25- All Commuter Rail Lines will operate a regular weekday schedule.
- The Fairmount Line will operate a Sunday schedule.
Friday, Nov. 27

Saturday, Nov. 28 and Sunday, Nov. 29
Customers should please note that regular Saturday and Sunday Commuter Rail train servicewill be provided on the Fitchburg Line.Bus
