Sunday is the annual McCarthy/Fuller 5k &amp; Fun Run/Walk. The event, sponsored by Middlesex Savings Bank, is a fundraiser. More than 300 individuals have participated in past 5Ks. The proceeds of this event enabled McCarthy PTO to purchase 25 Chromebooks for McCarthy Elementary for the past two years.Same day registration is available the day of the race. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 8:30 a.m. The 5K run/walk starts at 9 a.m.There is a half-mile fun run for younger children at 10:15 a.m.If you have already registered online or via the schools, bib pickup is between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. on Sunday. Registration fees are:<ul><li>5K run/walk: Age 14 and older $25</li><li>Half-Mile fun run: $10 per person</li><li>Family maximum of $60 </li></ul> This is a wonderful community event. The PTO will have mini trampolines and an obstacle course for the kids at the race site too.
