Meet Democratic Candidates In Framingham Forum

Democracy is not a spectator sport. Come armed with your questions.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—Voters have a a chance to meet the Democratic candidates in a forum sponsored by the Framingham League of Women Voters and the MetroWest Daily News.

This forum is being held on Monday, Aug. 20, from 7-8:45 p.m.at Framingham’s Main Library, 49 Lexington Street, Framingham, where State Representative candidates Mary Kate Feeney, Mike Gatlin and Maria Robinson participate. Mark Tilden had a previously scheduled family vacation and will not be able to participate, said the announcement.

Candidates for the Middlesex DA office have been invited but DA Marion Ryan has not responded as of yet.

Questions will be asked of all the candidates on issues that are important to residents of Framingham, and residents are encouraged to submit questions in advance to LWVFram@gmail.com. Written questions will also be asked at the event.

The primary election on Sept. 4 swill determine which of these candidates will appear on the ballot for the general election on November. This is an opportunity to hear from the candidates and learn what they bring to the table.
