Mencoboni, Merusi Honored at 23rd Annual Salute To Framingham
The annual event is a fundraiser for the Framingham High School Foundation.

Before a sold out crowd of more than 500 individuals, life-long Framingham residents Lee Mencoboni and Bob Merusi were honored at the 23rd Annual Salute to Framingham Thursday night.
The event is the largest fundraiser for Framingham High School. All proceeds are used to support activities, the arts and athletics at the high school.
Mencoboni, the owner of La Cantina Italiana Restaurant, has been helping the youth of Framingham by addressing the problem of childhood hunger.

Merusi is the former Framingham Parks and Recreation Department Director. He retired in 2014.
Besides, the two honorees, the event also recognized two dozen Framingham High seniors, and awarded 23 Framingham High teachers and staff with Your Are Special awards.
