In the beginning, to me it sounded like any other town.

I was just a kid, and life goes on. you catch up quickly. Framingham has it all, really, the stores, the schools, the homes, the restaurants, and parks. But that was only part of it. Yes, every town needs those things to be great. But what makes Framingham Framingham is the people. Without people it would be nothing at all.

I myself have grown to see this in the people. I am part of the people. And I now see the value of this town. Every great town you hear of isn’t judged by what the town has but it’s the people. And we are Framingham.

What I loved when I was little was all the stores and parks providing me great times that I would cherish forever. Shopping with my family and going to the park were both connected. Buying my first bike at Wal-Mart, as I learned to ride it as Dennison playground, may sound common, like any other childhood memory, but it is one of these memories you can not get enough of. Everyone loves the classics. Framingham is truly one of them.

As I grew older my thoughts changed. What I loved about Framingham became those who I met, The ones who I got to know and build a connected friendship with. On Second Street, where I live, whenever someone is doing something like having a barbeque, everyone is invited. Everyone is welcome and treated equally for who they are. We may not know each other very well at first, but eventually we do.

For example, one day in front of our house the street was having a barbeque in the apartment building area and everyone was welcome as kids played families ate and friends came together with joy laughing in harmony.

I also love Framingham because everyone is different and comes from different places, and that’s what makes this town so great when we come together as one. When we open up to new people and make a bond, we can work together to combine our knowledge and abilities. We can deft the impossible. Like when there is a community project to do something. The whole point of a community project is to do it as a community. And when you do you accept everyone’s ideas to do the best you can as possible. Some of us might do better on things than others, but it’s the point that we learn together from those who do and help one another to get the job done. There is safety in numbers, but also strength. Nothing is impossible when you do it with friends. Or in this case nothing’s impossible when we all come together as one to defy it all.

Framingham isn’t just a town, it is an example that the world is becoming a better place already because we have come together as one.
