Mighty Hawks Cheer Squad for Children With Disabilities
Natick Youth Football & Cheerleading introduces team for children ages 5-21, with disabilities. Non-Natick residents can participate.

Natick Youth Football & Cheerleading is introducing a cheerleading team for the 2015 season for children ages 5-21 with disabilities. Membership is not limited to Natick residents. There is a fee to participare.
The squad, called “The Mighty Hawks” is open to children ages 5-21 with cognitive and physical disabilities.
Children will learn cheers, play games and even exhibit their skills in a cheerleading competition in October.

All skills will be geared towards each individual child’s ability.
Practice will be two nights per week, for one hour each night.

Natick Youth Football & Cheerleading has taken steps to make this a rewarding program for your children while also addressing the safety concerns of parents.
Staff will consists of several adult coaches with cheer, gymnastics, social working, educator and clinical backgrounds.
The organization posted it has a “very balanced team of professionals available to coach these children. We have most recently secured a Registered Nurse (RN) to be on staff that will attend to all of your children’s medical needs and assist us in providing your children with the best possible experience. Our nurse has extensive experience working with children with many different disabilities as that is her full-time job.”
The organization has also reduced the registration fee for this team for the 2015 season to further help families interested in enrolling their children in this new program.
