Minor Snow Accumulations Expected This Morning

Most of Eastern and Central Massachusetts, including Framingham, won’t get more than a inch or two from this morning’s snow.

The National Weather Service is predicting:

• 4-6 inches of snow on Cape Cod and the Islands
• 3-4 inches in Southeastern Massachusetts.
• 2-3 inches on the South Shore.
• 1-2 inches in Metro Boston, MetroWest, the Worcester area and the North Shore.
• No snow to a coating north of Route 128.

After Tuesday night’s storm, Boston is only 2 inches away from the record of snowiest winter on record. Boston will likely not get the 2 inches needed for the record from the next storm.
