New Framingham Mayor Announces Transition Team

Yvonne Spicer announced a 12-member team to help guide her vision for Framingham.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—It's a new era for Framingham. A city with a new mayor, and one who has a vision to put forth.

Mayor-Elect Yvonne Spicer recently announced the formation of a 12-member Transition Team that will guide her as she puts into motion the vision plan she outlined during her campaign, said an announcement from the mayor's office. This committee will serve as an advisory board assisting the mayor-elect until she becomes mayor.

"The diverse group is reflective in scope of the residents of Framingham in regard to the mix of age, race, gender, ethnicity, and experience," said the release.

All members of the transition team work or reside in Framingham, except one who is involved in city government in Worcester and advises on matters particular to city versus town government. The transition team is made up entirely of volunteers.
