New Framingham Stop On The Greyhound Route

The MassDOT announces that there's a new option to hop on the bus for riders headed in and out of Framingham.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—Travelers can now hop the bus in Framingham, thanks to a new Greyhound stop on the route.

Greyhound just announced that it expanded in the state with a new stop at the Framingham Intermodal Center in Framingham. In partnership with the MetroWest Regional Transit Authority (MWRTA), this new stop enables customers to travel conveniently to locations such as Boston, Sturbridge, Springfield, Lee, Pittsfield and Albany, while providing access to Greyhound’s extensive network of more than 3,800 destinations across the United States and Canada.

“We are confident Greyhound’s partnership with the MetroWest Regional Transit Authority will be a
beneficial one, providing a wider range of travel options for Framingham residents,” said Mike
Fleischhauer, northeast regional vice president, Greyhound Lines, in a statement. “By providing easier access to surrounding areas, we are excited to continue serving customers throughout the Northeast.”

“The MetroWest Regional Transit Authority is thrilled to partner up with a nationally recognized
transportation company like Greyhound, and make Framingham Intermodal truly intermodal,” said Ed
Carr, MWRTA administrator, in a statement.

From this new stop, riders can connect to the local MetroWest bus system, Commuter Rail, and Amtrak service in one convenient downtown location.
