Paving, Gas Main, Crosswalk, and Road Construction Projects This Week in Framingham
The following is a list of Town of Framingham and MassDOT project this week.

The following is a list of Town of Framingham and MassDOT project this week, Nov. 9-13.
- BELKNAP ROAD: Casting adjustments and punch list items will finalize the paving operation. Expect minimum delays.
- CENTRAL STREET BRIDGE OVER THE SUDBURY RIVER: Construction of the new bridge will continue. Traffic will continue to be detoured over the Wickford Road Bridge. Please allow additional travel time.
- COBURN STREET/WINTHROP STREET AREA: The contractor is anticipated to perform final paving for Cedar Street and Winthrop Street on Tuesday, Nov. 10. Expect delays.
- DOWNTOWN FRAMINGHAM RECONSTRUCTION: Contractors will continue to install streetscape improvements on Concord Street at Union Avenue as well as install traffic signals, street lights and wiring throughout the project. Expect moderate delays and on-street parking restrictions.
- DUDLEY ROAD: Construction will begin on the new pedestrian crosswalk near the intersection of Dr. Harvey Cushing Way. Expect moderate delays.
- EDGELL ROAD: Construction will begin on the new pedestrian crosswalk near the intersection of Whiting Road. Expect moderate delays.
- EVERSOURCE DOWNTOWN UTILITY PROJECT: The contractor will continue conduit installation on Concord Street and Waverly Street, Monday through Friday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Expect moderate delays.
- LANEWOOD AVENUE: Contractors will be performing subsurface investigations including borings on Monday, Nov. 9 and Tuesday, Nov. 10. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect. Expect moderate delays.
- MAIN STREET (Day Work): The contractor will install sewer service coatings and sewer manhole rehabilitation on sections of Main Street and Maple Street. Water work will continue on Moulton Park Road. Traffic plans may include one-way alternating traffic. Expect traffic delays on affected roadways. Police details will be on site to facilitate traffic.
- MAIN STREET (Night Work) Eversource Gas will be replacing the gas main from 34 Main Street to High Street. Hours of operation are 8 p.m to 5 a.m.
- ROUTE 9 BRIDGE OVER FOSS RESERVOIR OUTLET: Contractor has shifted the workzone to begin construction of the southern section of the bridge. The westbound pedestrian sidewalk will remain closed. Expect moderate delays.
- SCHOOL STREET: Eversource Gas will install gas main and services on School Street from Fenwood Street to Cottage Street. Expect delays.
- SPEEN STREET: Eversource Gas will install gas main and services on Speen Street from Old Connecticut Path to Cochituate Road. Expect delays.
- WAVERLY STREET: The upgraded crosswalk at the trains station will be imprinted and the new pedestrian crossing signals will be installed and activated. Expect minimal delays.
