FRAMINGHAM, MA—“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical” hits the stage at the Shubert Theatre Dec. 14-17 and the show has partnered with PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center to educate parents and children about celebrating our differences during the holiday season.
Locally, the show partnered with Boston vs Bullies and teamed up with former Celtics player Brian Scalabrine to spread bullying prevention messages to local children using the holiday classic story, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “T.E.A.M. Rudolph” a new story of how the Reindeer Games became a celebration of acceptance and inclusion.
On Tuesday, Dec. 5, Scalabrine read to 80 fist graders at Wilson Elementary School in Framingham. After the reading of the stories, educator Susan Roche from Boston vs. Bullies led a brief discussion about the learnings from the book.
