Framingham Selectmen are scheduled to make the appointment on June 16.The Board of Health acts as an advocate for preventative health and wellness for the Town and is charged with the enforcement of all laws, regulations and Town bylaws relating to the public health. This includes conducting hearings, issuing licenses and permits, setting the Board of Health Fee Schedule, approving subdivisions, enacting health regulations, issuing site assignments, registering recombinant DNA technologies and investigating all health-related nuisances. Any Framingham resident interested in serving in a position should complete an <a href="http://www.framinghamma.gov/DocumentCenter/View/12922" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">application</a>.
