A music educator, with almost 20 years experience, Manoogian was hired as a long-term substitute.

Potter Road Elementary School Principal announced this week that Marcia Manoogian has been hired as a long-term substitute for the school’s music program.

“Manoogian comes to us with close to 20 years of music education experience working with children from Kindergarten to 8th grade. Most recently, she served as a general music teacher for grades K-4 in the Wareham Public Schools. While there, she taught instrumental lessons and band for 4th graders and directed 3rd and 4th grade chorus,” wrote Principal Paula Del Prete to parents.

In January, music teacher Janie Waterman was placed on administrative leave for the second time in three months.
