Public Hearing on Comcast's Cable License in Framingham

The hearing is tonight, June 2 at 7 p.m. as part of the Framingham Selectmen's meeting

Comcast’s cable license with the Town of Framingham is up for renewal in June 2016.

As part of the process for renewal, the Framingham Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing to learn about the concerns and issues residents and subscribers of Comcast cable TV service have in Framingham.

The hearing, held jointly with the Framingham Cable Advisory Committee, is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Ablondi Room in the Memorial Building for tonight, June 2.

The Framingham Cable Advisory Committee, which acts in an advisory capacity to the Selectmen, will be working to negotiate a new license with the cable company.

If residents can not attend the meeting tonight they may email comments to selectmen@framinghamma.gov.
