The Rams grabbed the lead in the 15th minute when freshman Hannah Carnes knocked home a pass from sophomore Amie Souza in the circle for her third marker of the season.

The goal by Carnes would prove to be the game winner as senior Rosemary Talbot ) held the Hawks off the board recording her first shutout of the season. Becker’s best chance at the equalizer came with just over 20 minutes showing on the clock. Sophomore Amy Grenier took a pass at the top of the circle and fired a shot that Talbot was able to block.
