Rotary Club Names Framingham Downtown Renaissance Organization of the Year
The non-profit organization was established in 2008, and is under the leadership of Holli Andrews, hired in 2012.

The Rotary Club of Framingham selected the Framingham Downtown Renaissance as its organization of the year.
Framingham Downtown Renaissance Executive Director Holli Andrews accepted the award at a dinner last month.
The Framingham Downtown Renaissance’s mission is “to promote, drive, and implement the revitalization of Downtown Framingham by collaborating with residents, Town of Framingham officials, and private stakeholders supporting a shared vision. “

The organization is committed to making “Downtown Framingham a great place to live, work and visit.”
The Framingham Downtown Renaissance organization was established in 2008 as a community-driven organization independent from the Town of Framingham.

Andrews was hired in the spring of 2012.
The organization seeks to “reestablish connections among rural residents and Downtown neighborhoods, university and college communities, young people and seniors, newcomers and long timers, by building common ground as a sense of shared civic pride in the revitalization of Downtown Framingham.”
Andrews works to ”engage the community, including new voices, in identifying and describing Downtown Framingham’s heart and soul.”
