Sexual Assault Defendant Held Until Friday
The arraignment of Nathan P. Williams came after a reported sexual assault that occurred on April 3.

Nathan Williams, the 19-year-old is being held until a second hearing occurs this Friday.
Williams was charged with rape of a child with force after certain offenses (two counts), kidnapping and indecent assault and battery on a person over 14.
Judge Robert Greco heard arguments from Williams' attorney, John Daly, and the prosecuting attorney Katelyn Draper Tuesday morning.

In addition to being held, Williams’ bail from an earlier charge of assault and battery was also revoked.
According to Draper, a man fitting Williams’ description motioned toward a 15-year-old last Wednesday before leading her into a wooded area.

“She was directed to a secluded area where the defendant, this male, proceeded to sexually assault the child in a number of different ways," she said.
Draper also said that the victim had never known the defendant and that evidence collected included biological evidence.
“A DNA profile was generated as a result and that DNA profile matched what investigators believed to be the defendant before you,” Draper said.
Reports indicate that Draper had a prior adjudication for a sexual assault-based crime while he was still a juvenile, which leads to this case being tried as a subsequent offense.
“This is a horrific crime committed in broad daylight by an abject predator,” District Attorney Gerry Leone said in a press release. “I am thankful for, and highly commend the efficient and effective work of the Framingham Police and the Massachusetts State Police Crime Lab to obtain the evidence leading to the arrest in this case.”
Williams' address from his last arrest was 78 Elm St., Apt. B, Framingham. This case is impounded, however, and no current information was given.
