Skybokx 109 Hosting Special Kentucky Bourbon and Beer Dinner Thursday

The MetroWest restaurant is serving a special 4-course dinner with pours of craft bourbon and beer from Kentucky brewing company.

SKYBOKX 109 GastroSports is hosting a special 4-course dinner inspired by beer and bourbon offerings from Alltech Lexington Brewing and Distilling Company in Kentucky on May 28.

Upon arrival, guests will whet their appetites with complimentary Bavarian Pretzel Bites served with Kentucky Kolsch grain mustard sauce and Boneless Chicken Tenders tossed in a tangy orange-citrus glaze, as they sip a Kentucky Old Fashioned Barrel Ale.

Throughout the evening, Executive Chef Noah Gagnon will serve dishes such as Honey-Roasted Peach Soup, Bourbon and Cola Glazed Steak Tips, and Blackened Sea Scallops, while guests enjoy expert pairings like Kentucky Bourbon Ale, Town Branch Bourbon and Town Branch Rye.

To help guide guests through their gastronomic journey to The Bluegrass State, Chef Gagnon along with Alltech Lexington Brand Ambassador Michael Gallaway, will be on hand to discuss the evening’s special menu, the art of craft brewing and distilling, and their methodology for perfectly paring each course.

Featuring dishes inspired by Alltech Lexington’s award-winning selection of craft beer and whiskey, the menu for Chef Gagnon’s special bourbon and beer dinner will be served as follows:

First course

  • Chilled Honey-Roasted Peach Soup
  • vanilla cream cardamom, fresh orange juice, crème fraiche
  • Pairing: Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale

Second course

  • Teres Major Tips
  • bourbon marinade and bourbon cola glaze, Israeli couscous
  • Pairing: Tower Branch Bourbon

Palate Cleanser

  • Prosciutto-Wrapped Cantaloupe
  • provolone, fresh mint
  • Pairing: Kentucky Kolsch

Third course

  • Blackened Sea Scallops
  • horseradish marmalade
  • Pairing: Tower Branch Rye

Dessert

  • Vanilla Crème Brûlée
  • coffee crème anglaise, whipped cream
  • Served with dark roasted coffee blended with Kentucky bourbon and cane sugar

Tickets are required for this adult only event on Thursday, May 28. Tickets are $50 inclusive of tax and gratuity, and tickets must be purchased in advance.
