More than 1,000 individuals ate and drank their way around MetroWest Tuesday night at the 5th Annual Taste of MetroWest, hosted by the Metrowest Chamber of Commerce at the Sheraton Framingham.
Attendees, as they visited the more than 3 dozen booths, also voted on their favorites.

- Best Appetizer: The Cottage
- Best Entree: Sheraton Framingham’s Postern Grille
- Best Presentation: Framingham State University
- Best Dessert: Chocolate Therapy
- Best Beverage: The Verve Crowne Plaza
“I loved the presentation by the Framingham State University team - that salad was great!,” said Patty Ames to Framingham Patch, on our Facebook page. “Also loved the spicy Thai noodles by Rice Theory, and I was really impressed with the brisket from Roche Bros! Final shout out: the guacamole by Mexico City Taqueria. ... It was all good.”
One of the goals of the event is to introduce some of MetroWest’s finest restaurants, caterers, gourmet and ethnic markets, wineries, brew houses, and local purveyors of fine liquor to a new audience.

“ZOUP was the surprise fabulous find for me. I had no idea they were right in Sherwood Plaza (in Natick) and can’t wait to check out more of their offerings. Yum!,” Liz Kaprielian told Framingham Patch.
ZOUP served a Lobster Bisque and a chicken pot pie soup Tuesday night.
