The Framingham High School marching band earned a gold medal at the New England Scholastic Band Association’s New England Championships in Lawrence over the weekend. The Flyers finished second, behind North Middlesex Regional High School’s band.

Framingham High scored 91.3 points.<a href="https://patch.com/massachusetts/framingham/flyer-lara-williams-wins-first-ever-best-drum-major-award-0">Framingham High’s drum major Lara Williams</a> was presented with the Best Drum Major Award for Division 2.

Under the direction of Andrew Jasinski, the theme of this year’s performance is The Sea.
