Framingham High's baseball team defeated Weymouth 7-1 on Friday at Bowditch Field and again 5-3 on Saturday on the road.

The Flyers completed a home-and-home, 2-game sweep of the Weymouth Wildcats on Saturday.

The Framingham High’s baseball team defeated Weymouth 7-1 on Friday at Bowditch Field and again 5-3 on Saturday at Weymouth High.

Sam Phipps was the starting pitcher and went 5 strong innings on Saturday, and Jeff Oberg closed out the last two innings by pitching scoreless baseball.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, with the help of his teammates, Oberg recorded all three outs on only 3 pitches.

On Friday afternoon, the Flyers had their hitting shoes on and beat this same Weymouth team at Bowditch Field, 7-1.

Lefty Chris Grome pitched 6 very strong innings, allowing only one run

A.J. Tunno closed out the top of the seventh, for the victory.
