Congresswoman Katherine Clark, who represents Framingham, partnered with Project Citizenship and the Massachusetts Office of Refugees and Immigrants to host Citizenship Day in Framingham over the weekend.
Permanent residents eligible to apply for naturalization were invited to attend the March 14 free workshop, where volunteers were on hand to provide eligibility screening, application assistance, legal referrals and training.
“The good work and leadership of Project Citizenship’s impacts the lives of families who are on their journey to becoming citizens,” said Rep. Katherine Clark. “My hope is that through partnerships like these, our immigrant and refugee communities will see my office as another resource in their journey.”
