SLIDESHOW: Framingham-Natick Relay for Life

More than 2 dozen teams participated in the American Cancer Society's annual Relay for Life this past weekend at Natick High

Groups of teens & adults from Natick, Framingham & Sherborn, gathered at Natick High School on Saturday to participate in this year’s American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life.

Participants showed their support by walking laps on the track to raise money in an effort to fight cancer. Teams and individuals also placed luminaries around the perimeter of the Natick High football field

Luminaries are paper bags with glow sticks inside, that have messages of support & remembrance. They are dedicated to people who are battling against cancer, those who have defeated the disease and those who have lost their battle.

With the field lights turned off, this becomes one of the most moving & powerful moments of the weekend.
