SLIDESHOW: Framingham 'Quiz Show' Team Moves On To Quarterfinals
The Flyers won their match against North Quincy High School, which aired last night, Feb. 21.
Framingham High’s team in WGBH’s High School Quiz Show won its match against North Quincy High School.
The Flyers competing were Eli Bondar, Priyanka Roy, Jack Schneiderman, and Josh Werblin. Varun Tekur is the alternate team member.
The show aired last night at 6, but was taped on January 31.

Next up for the Flyers is the quarterfinals, already taped, but airing on April 21.
High School Quiz Show is a televised, single-elimination, bracketed academic tournament. The season six field includes three past champions and three schools making their first appearance in the tournament.

Students from 16 Massachusetts high schools made season 6 out of the 120 teams that applied.
The Massachusetts state champion will compete in the 3rd annual Governor’s Cup Challenge against New Hampshire Public Television’s Granite State Challenge champion.
The Emmy Award- and Parents’ Choice Award-winning High School QuizShow is produced and broadcast by WGBH and hosted by Billy Costa.
