Individuals began arriving at Shoppers World before 5 a.m. to wait in line to see HGTV’s The Property Brothers at Cost Plus World Market.
The new retail store promised that the first 200 customers who brought 5 non-perishable, non-glass food items for a Boston charity would meet and get an autograph photo of Jonathan and Drew Scott.
But more than 550 individuals made it through the two-hour meet and greet on Sunday, Oct 4.

Food will be donated to Hope Worldwide Food Pantry (Boston chapter).
While one would expect the line to move quickly with little interaction with the brothers known to transform extreme fixer-uppers into their ultimate dream homes, instead the duo were personable and very engaging with the crowd.

They posed and hugged with fans, and even consoled one woman, who was crying hysterically.
Even after they completed the line, the brothers agreed to walk through the store and take selfies with those not able to meet them on their way to the airport to catch a plane back home.
